Workshop on Water Proofing Compound, Ultratech

An expert lecture was organized by School of Architecture and Planning. The event was held in Conference Hall of H-Block, Babu Banarasi Das University. AR. KUNWAR GHANSHYAM YADAV was the faculty coordinator for the programme. Students from the different department (B.Arch. and B.I.D) participated in the programme.

The session started with Mr. Ajay Pratap, Ultratech Territory Manager, Lucknow, who delivered a presentation on “Water Proofing Compounds” to the student sand gave glances of some more different types of products used in construction of the building and difficulties that came with them to justify why this product is best to use and how they tackled with it and came up with solutions to save time and cost. And then they told us about the common problems that occur due to water leakage and the water proofing solutions used to prevent leakage with the benefits, features, and packaging of the products. They also showed us some videos presenting where and how the compounds are used and the new time saving technologies with them.

The whole thing came to an end with the interaction between the students and the speaker of UltraTech and the group Photograph.
