MoU: BBDU & Virohan Pvt. Ltd.

A MoU was signed between Babu Banarasi Das University as an HEI and Virohan Private Limited as an Industry partner to open a new School as School of Allied Health Sciencesunder the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Vice President Ms. Sonakshi Das Gupta. In the MoU signing ceremony, Registrar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean Student Welfare & Chief Proctor, IQAC Director, Dean Academics, Deputy Registrar and other Deans were present from the BBD University and Ms. Rashmi Jha, Senior Director, and Mr. Kumar Virochit, Regional Head were from Virohan Private Limited. Presently, under the School of Allied Health Sciences, 4 years UG programs will run in Medical Laboratory Technology, Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, Optometry, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology from the academic session 2025-26. In addition, other programmes pertaining to allied health sciences will also run in future. This partnership will not only open new avenues for skill development and real-world learning for our students but also bridge the gap by academic-industry partnership and making students employable for the industries.
