On May 15, 2024, BBD University’s Research & Development Cell and IQAC jointly hosted a guest lecture titled “AI Tools and Techniques for Quality Research”.
Dr. Manish Kumar Srivastava, currently a professor of marketing at Christ University, Bangalore, led the session. Dr. Manish has completed his PhD from Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. He has over 20 years of teaching and industrial experience and has taught and worked closely with renowned management institutes in India. He has various publications to his credit in well known journals. He is an active member of Academy of International Business, USA and has also been invited as an Educator at the Ministry of Education, Eritrea, in North East Africa.
Among the attendees were Dr. Ahmad Ali, Director of IQAC and Dean of the School of Basic Sciences, Dr. Sushil Pandey, Dean-School of Management, and faculty members from various departments.
During the session, Dr. Manish delved into a range of AI tools such as Jenni AI, Carrot Square, Paperpal, Litmaps, Open Knowledge Maps and others, all aimed at improving the quality of academic manuscripts. He provided practical demonstrations to show attendees how to effectively utilize these tools to boost productivity in their workspaces.
The audience left the lecture feeling inspired and well-prepared to harness the potential of these AI tools in their research endeavors.
