INTRODUCTION
An expert lecture on “Future of Timber in Indian Construction Industry” was organized by the Babu Banarasi das University, Lucknow, under the School of Architecture & Planning as part of the industry– Academia Collaboration Series on 24th Feb,2026 for B.Arch – 1st year& 2nd yearand B.InteriorDesign–1st&The lecture aimed to provide students with insights into modern construction materials and sustainable practices in the building industry.
The session focused on the role of timber as a sustainable and innovative construction material and howit can shape the future of architecture and infrastructure in India.
