Dean’s Message

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to School of Pharmacy, BBD University (SoPH BBDU), Lucknow, as one of the most sought after & premier institute of Pharmacy (established in 1998 as Faculty of Pharmacy).

The importance of Pharmacy is quite evident during & post pandemic era when almost everything came to a standstill, except the noble profession of Pharmacy, be it providing medicines through community pharmacy or preparing lifesaving vaccines by Pharmaceutical Production professionals, very ably supported by Pharmaceutical Research & Development professionals. It would not be wrong to state that till the time mankind exists, diseases would be there & hence-forth the challenges, scope & growth of Pharmacy would also be ever increasing & growing, it is worthwhile to state that India is rightly bein known As Pharmacy of the world, as it deserves to be recognized.

In Students’ life, we are focused on the education our learners receive not only in theory/practical classes but outside the classroom also. Though we are mindful that the intellectual life will be the core of the technical grooming at SoPH BBDU, we are dedicated to the idea that learning continues, is enhanced and is made meaningful by practicing some core values by a learner, some main ones are Enthusiasm & Inquisitiveness, Patience & Persistence, Concentration & Discipline, Hard work & Focused approach, Last but not the least is Respect/ responsibility towards society and environment.
