As part of its ongoing initiative to promote the Indian Knowledge System, The School of Basic Sciences organized a guest lecture titled “Unveiling the Secrets of Vedic Mathematics – The Lost Art of Calculations” by renowned scholar Dr. Shyam Kishor, Department of Mathematics and Astronomy, University of Lucknow. The event took place on 07-05-2025 at Babu Banarasi Das University, with an enthusiastic gathering of students, faculty, and guests in attendance.
The lecture aimed to shed light on the ancient mathematical techniques from the Vedic era and their applications in modern times.
