Umang a vibrant and recreational club of students of School of Hotel Management is committed to provide a platform for their students to unwind themselves, socialize with each other with no hesitations or boundaries between the seniors and juniors and most importantly a ice breaking session between students and faculties where everyone is free to enjoy and relax and showcase his or her talent. The main motive behind organizing these events is to provide a stress free environment for relaxation and enjoyment and to promote teamwork, leadership and communication skills. Keeping this in mind School of Hotel Management organized the second phase of recreational event ‘Umang 2.0’ on 25th October 2024 in the Food & Beverage lab from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. The event started with the Ganesh Vandna followed by some cultural dance and singing performances by the students, many of the first year students who are the budding talents of the school also shared their experiences about the department, even narrated some stories and shared their real life experiences. It was really interesting to hear from the budding talents. It was followed by the session for games which included ‘Flip the bottle, pyramid by tea cups etc and last but not the least musical chair was organised where both students and faculties actively participated.
