The School of Legal Studies at Babu Banarasi Das University successfully hosted the Luminary Conclave 2024 on November 30, 2024, at the Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Auditorium. The event, centered around the theme “The Future of OCR – Online Conflict Resolution and Mediation,” was a remarkable convergence of legal luminaries and academicians.
Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Alka Das, Chancellor, BBD University and Mr. Viraj Sagar Das, President, BBD Educational Society, the conclave was intellectually enriching. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honor of the event were Hon’ble Mr. Justice Subhash Vidyarthi, Judge at Allahabad High Court, Lucknow, and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Jain, Judge at Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The University was honored to welcome a distinguished array of experts, including Mr. Aruneshwar Gupta, Senior Advocate at Supreme Court of India; Mr. Nirmal Kumar Seth, Senior Advocate at High Court Lucknow; Mr. Santhanakrishnan, Life President of the Commonwealth Lawyer Association; Mr. Prahlad Sharma, President of Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, Jaipur, Rajasthan; Mr. Akhilesh Kalra, Senior Advocate at High Court, Lucknow; and Mr. Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, General Secretary of Oudh Bar Association, High Court, Lucknow. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Pro Vice-Chancellor of BBD University, Prof. (Dr.) S.C. Sharma.
