Brief Description of Event:
INSTITUTE OF TOWN PLANNERS, INDIA, UTTAR PRADESH REGIONAL CHAPTER has organised a seminar with the aim to spread knowledge about the climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in urban planning.
The event was held at Hotel Comfort-Inn, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The conference was attended by members (associate, fellow, student members) of U.P. Regional chapter of ITPI and officials of govt. Of U.P..
Firstly, Shri Anoop Srivastava, chairman, UPRC welcomes the guests by delivering a speech. The session started with Dr. D.S. Meshram, president, I.T.P.I. who delivered a presentation on The “Introduction of the theme” and then the session was addressed by chief guest Shri RanvirPrasad, IAS, secretary, Housing and urban planning department, Go.UP. Then Shri Manoj Kumar, Treasurer. Regional chapter,I.T.P.I. thanks our honourable guests with his vote of thanks.
Then Dr R.K. Udayan,programme convenor introduces the key speakers ,then the programme was overtaken by the key speakers i.e.Dr. Ramesh Srikonda , Director ,SPA Vijaywada , Dr. Sanjay Gupta, dean(research) and dean (faculty welfare) SPA , New Delhi, Prof. Dr. Neha bansal, dept. Of faculty of architecture planning and design , Integral university, lucknow,U.P. , Ms. Ruchi Gupta, team lead,urbanstrategy unit,NIUA,New Delhi presided by Prof. Subodh Shankar. Then a question answer round was done.
