Why Pharmacy
The science of pharmacy imparts of the knowledge of preparation and distribution of medicinal drugs. From giving away the prescribed medicine to monitoring its doses, from preparing the drugs to suggesting alternatives, and to finally suggesting some medicines themselves, pharmacists are those undervalued, integral parts of the global health chain without whom the whole cycle of healthcare can come to a standstill.
The importance of all pharmacists lies in what they do, because it is their duty to make sure that:
- the drugs are available for and to the patients;
- only the prescribed drugs are reaching the patients;
- for those who can’t afford to run to a doctor every time, they can provide medicines for not-so-serious things;
- alternatives are also available and that they have the knowledge for it;
- no wrong use of drugs occur;
- they can prepare drugs in case of required attention to individuals.
