BBA – Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Educational Objectives
BBA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) is a three-year undergraduate programme comprising six semesters that aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to business, industry, and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising therefrom. The programme not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the students’ personalities.
The programme has 23 core courses, 12 generic elective courses placed in the first four semesters, six skill enhancement courses placed in the third and fourth semesters, and 12 discipline-specific elective courses placed in the last two semesters. One open elective is included in the sixth semester, which the student has to select from different courses offered by other schools of BBD University. In all, thirty optional courses under GE, SEC, and DSE have been developed with the idea of encompassing all possible domains of knowledge and skills and facilitating interface with various sections of society so that a student can have a wide choice of courses to have a better life and to lead a meaningful and contented life. Keeping in view the needs of the students, ability enhancement compulsory courses (AECCs) have been designed in a manner that provides relevant knowledge and skills.
Summer internships and research project reports are also included in the fifth and sixth semesters, respectively.
