Department of Civil Engineering

The undergraduate course offers complete knowledge in the field of civil engineering apart from basic science knowledge. The department actively promotes curriculum development activity by updating existing courses and preparing resource material for teaching.

The Department offers a four-year program leading to the Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and two-year program leading to Master’s degree in various disciplines, it includes; Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering. All the facilities are provided to the students in the form of laboratories and computer access so as to carry out their research at their best. Students are encouraged to attend seminars and workshops essential for their particular discipline.

The department has well equipped lab facilities for all the streams i.e. transportation, environment, surveying, fluid mechanics and hydraulics, geotechnical and structure lab. Teaching process includes well equipped laboratories and seminar halls which help in grooming a student to a perfect engineer. Conduction of site visits and survey camps helps to make student familiar with the practical knowledge.
