ABOUT THE AI RESEARCH CENTRE
The Artificial Intelligence Research Center in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the School of Engineering, is dedicated to advancing research and development in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The center is technically sponsored by the Soft Computing Research Society, New Delhi. The primary goal of this endeavor is to foster innovation by exploring the synergy between AI and cutting-edge technologies. The center boasts a state-of-the-art infrastructure with open-source software, facilitating the implementation of real-world models through diverse AI techniques, including fuzzy systems, artificial neural networks, and evolutionary algorithms. Emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach, the center actively encourages collaborative research across various disciplines, fostering a dynamic environment for cutting-edge exploration and discovery. It plays a pivotal role in development talent, facilitating collaborative projects, and promoting ethical and impactful use of AI technologies in addressing modern societal and industrial challenges. Aim
The primary aim of the AI Research Centre at BBDU is to establish a high-tech platform for AI research, education, and innovation that empowers students, faculty, and industry partners to collaboratively develop intelligent systems for the betterment of society.
OBJECTIVE
The key objectives of the Centre include:
- Promoting interdisciplinary research.
- Facilitating partnerships with industry and government for joint research initiatives.
- Encouraging innovation and patentable solutions through academic and student-led projects.
- Organizing training programs, workshops, and conferences to upskill faculty members and students.
- Advancing responsible and ethical AI research and development practices.
- Publishing high-quality research papers and supporting intellectual property generation.
