The Department came into existence with the inception of Babu Banarsi Das University in 2011. Department of Chemistry envisages to becoming a centre of excellence with high quality education and cutting-edge research in frontier areas of Chemistry.
We Offer
The Department offers Ph.D. program in fundamental and applied research. We aim to create an environment with focus on developing knowledge and skills for problem solving, team work and attitude for critical analysis. Laboratory facilities will support research in specialized field of Chemistry including synthetic and natural product, analytical, environmental and medicinal Chemistry.
We encourage interdisciplinary research where the emphasis will be on the development of new economical methods to turn scientific innovations in to vital technologies. The Department offers Doctoral programs in Chemistry in order to nurture young minds towards embracing various scientific challenges.
