ABOUT THE UMANG

We, at the School of Hotel Management established the recreational club named ‘Umang’ which means enthusiasm. This club operates to rejuvenate the liveliness level of the whole SoHM family. It provides the platform to perform in the semi-formal environment with a freedom to speak and share the thoughts. The essence of this club is to break the ice amongst all and build harmonious environment within the institution. Various recreational activities are carried out in this club to make everyone feel relaxed and joyful. This club is driven by the team of students under the able guidance of the faculty mentors and ensures to involve the entire SoHM fraternity.

Vision & Mission:

In the current scenario, hospitality sector is one of the most promising career choices amongst the young aspirants. In this revolutionary era the demand of the hospitality professional is at its peak. To meet the expectation of the trait students are required to not only equipped with the technical abilities but also with the massive personality along with the positive paradigm. With such perception Umang Club is acting as the booster platform for the holistic development of the students by transforming them into the confident hotel’s professional talents. To meet the industry standards this club is leveraging the confidence level of the students and making them to learn with fun.

OBJECTIVE

With the objective of building the confidence level and morale of the students this club is pro-active towards producing the fantastic outcomes. The essence of this club is to revitalize the students to perform excellent not only in their professional breathes but also in their personal survives too. This club enable the students to work in a team and have the harmonious relationships amongst the colleagues. Ice breaking sessions of this club elevates the passion of the students towards being actively involved in the club activities. To get rid of the stress, is one of the most vital aspect that is being considered by this club efficiently. Another feature of this club is to develop the ground-breaking ideas, squad building, gender equality, poise strengthening to name a few.
