Department of Journalism and Mass communication organised a workshop on 19th April, 2024, Friday in BBD University named as CHUNAAV SHALA. The workshop was conducted by News Mobile in association with Poynter, IFCN (International Fact Checking Network). The workshop was carried forward by Mr. Abheet Raghav, a professional fact checker. The main aim and objective of the workshop was to raise awareness about the false information that spreads like a wildfire specially in the time of elections. In order to raise awareness about the same and to help people know about the basic difference in misinformation and disinformation, and how they can affect us and the people around us.
