The Sports Council of Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) is an organization dedicated to promoting and managing sports and athletic activities within the university. It aims to foster a culture of physical fitness, teamwork, and competitive spirit among students. The council organizes various sports events, tournaments, and activities throughout the academic year, providing students with opportunities to participate in different sports, enhance their skills, and represent the university in intercollegiate competitions. Additionally, the council is responsible for maintaining sports facilities and ensuring that students have access to resources for their athletic development.

Governs cricket activities and organizes tournaments within the state.
Governs all the cricket activities in Lucknow and generally all the trials are held in BBD stadium.
